I love making art and using bright colors. My artwork shows a sweet birthday celebration with a piece of cake that looks like ice cream. I was inspired by birthdays, celebrations, and sweet treats. I used bright colors and sprinkles to make it feel fun and exciting, like a party. The candle represents making a wish. This artwork makes me feel happy, excited, and remembering special moments.

I have a favorite tree in my grandma’s yard that feels a little magical. It is kind of hidden and I enjoy climbing up and sitting in it. My dog Skibby will often follow me. I also love the Fall and all fairytales so I added in things like the pumpkins and the little gnome. I also love fashion, so I designed a dress I would love to wear with little white butterflies on it. I enjoy drawing, painting and working with clay, so this art piece combines all of these things together.

Hi my is Winter. I wanted to draw this because I really love wolves. I love all types of canines but the wolf is my favorite wild animal. I like how wolves have one leader of the group which is the Alpha. They are the protectors of the pack and help guide them to keep them safe. Painting this makes me feel like I want to paint some more. I love looking at this painting and staring into the wolves eyes. This painting is now hanging in my art room so it can be seen everyday.

~ Sun and Moon, sisters in soul, pass each other in a fleeting moment of wonder; dancing in starlight. ~ Hello, thank you for reading this and viewing my art! My name is Madeline and I've always loved making art, but I didn't start digital art until 2020 during the pandemic. Since then I have enjoyed following my art journey wherever it has led me. The inspiration for this piece came from eclipses as the concept has always fascinated me, and I recently viewed one from my backyard.

I have always been inspired by nature and the seasons changing. Fall is my favorite season, and that's what inspired this drawing. I tilted this piece "Reflections," because I believe it is important to look in the mirror and see the beauty that is you. The reflection of the trees in the water shows how pretty they are all over again, and I think we should do that too.

Hello! My name is Jayson and I’m fascinated my tragedy and comedy masks and jesters (both of which were my inspiration). A jester, something thought of to be joyful, using a mask used to display a set emotion on a stage with no crowd. The mask being used to hide something that the circus does not want the audience to know. Being controlled by string, unable to do anything with his own will using the mask to hide it all. Sometimes our life’s are like that, we try to hide how we really feel.

Hello! My name is Gabby, and this piece is inspired off my two favorite cookies, Pure Vanilla Cookie and Shadow Milk Cookie, in the popular game: Cookie Run Kingdom! I love the dynamic between these two characters, and the lore between them gives me goosebumps every time! Even if you are unfamiliar with the game, I do hope you at least enjoy the fanart! (Fun Fact!: This piece was drawn traditionally, and colored digitally!)

I love to make different art work. I have dyslexia, and art helps me express myself or my thoughts with no words. I painted this because teachers forget that even though I struggle with my writing, I do know how to express myself. People who are different feel lost in the shadows. My artwork makes me feel happy because I know that in the end I am bright. That is why I draw my star, and my face.

I am Amina, and I love sketching on my pad, and coloring on procreate. My inspiration for the piece was actually a homework assignment! I was asked to do a drawing of my own deity, god or goddess to present, and here it is! This girl you see here is Equality, the deity of balance. She is the one who keeps things equal between humans, plants and animals. This piece makes me feel proud.

I’m a young artist who’s been drawing digitally for the past nine years. I’ve always had a sort of fascination with cities and the mystical appeal they have at night. The idea of so many different people of varying origins having so many different experiences all in one place always appealed to me. The serenity that a night cityscape offers is what inspired me to create this piece and I sought to capture the sort of contemplative, deeply soothed atmosphere that only a glowing city can provide.

Hello, I’m Hayden! I love to read, play sports, write, draw dragons, etc. I’ve been doing art class with Ms. April Taylor for a year, and before that, I have been taking other Outschool art classes. If I’m being honest, the inspiration for my painting came from a watercolor class with Ms. April Taylor. It made me feel extremely happy because of the outcome, since water color isn’t my strong suit. I owe my teacher a huge, clap clap clap and thanks! Thank you so much for your time! -Hayden

I like drawing and using lots of colors. I made this picture by imagining I am standing in the middle of a city and looking up at tall buildings all around me. The buildings are all different and colorful. I was inspired by New York City and how big everything looks when you look up. I wanted my city to look fun and bright, so I used many colors and shapes. This picture makes me feel happy and excited like I am in a big city.

Hello! I was inspired to create this piece because ever since I could remember I've always had a love for sunsets and sunrises they remind me of God's beautiful creation and how every morning and evening he paints the sky with vibrant colors, it fills my heart with joy knowing he creates his masterpieces just for you and me.

There wasn’t really a clear inspiration for this piece, but I’ll try to give a bit of a walk-through. The character is inspired by WOF -Wings Of Fire, which is a dragon book series and my artist persona. I have always had a love for willow and wisteria trees, and love artworks that showcase things like rivers, oceans and waterfalls. The title is partly inspired by the book The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe. This piece makes me feel at peace with the whole… flowy and mystical feel! :3

Hello! This is my entry for the art contest. It took me about… 4-6 hours? I made the setting during sundown, because i thought it looked better compared to the lighting during day/night. The girl in the middle is one of my characters that I’ve been drawing for 2 years. I wanted to highlight her while the other people blend into the background. The ideas just been sitting in my mind for a while but i never got the chance to draw it until now!

I painted this because I love surfing and the tropics. I wanted to make a big, bright wave and a warm sunset. I used lots of colors to show the sky and the water moving. The wave is my favorite part because it feels strong and fun, like riding a wave. I just painted what I imagined and let it flow like the ocean.

I seriously don’t know why I made this, I was lying in bed and I had a sudden thought about drawing a snake, then I just built on that. Everything below the collarbone on the skeleton is based of a Google image, the rest is from my imagination, hence why the snakes look like gummy worms 🐛. Uhhhh I don’t know what to put…I spent around maybe 6-8 hours on it, during class periods, and I was really scared to color the snakes because it was my first time using shading and blending with color. Tysm!

In this piece, I showed what I include in a lot of my art. My differences, they are what make me unique, and what I love most about myself. In this drawing I am the rainbow dog, and everyone else are the cats. What inspires me to draw is myself. I'm also a proud LGBTQ+ member!

Dedicated to the conservation heroes who inspire children like myself to care, research, restore, and educate. My childhood mission to bring awareness to climate change, illegal wildlife trade, endangered species, deforestation, and pollution is driven by influential conservationists, environmentalists, and activists such as Steve Irwin, Jane Goodall & David Attenborough. “Only if we understand, will we care. Only if we care, will we help. Only if we help shall all be saved.” -Dr. J. Goodall

I work with a variety of artistic mediums to express different ideas and emotions. This particular piece was inspired by my empathetic nature and a question that has often crossed my mind: do angels ever feel overwhelmed or overworked, constantly being called upon when they are needed most?

I’ve always loved creating art. “Wolfychu Fanart” is a piece inspired by a story time animator on YouTube named Wolfychu, I’ve enjoyed her content for years and wanted to make something to express how much I appreciate her work. “Aurelia’s Rage” is a piece inspired by my story, which I’ve been writing for the past 6 years. It was also a way to experiment with monochrome colors, and see what my art would look like if i didn’t stress over it looking perfect, and just drew what I wanted.✨

I am a young artist. I love, nature, animals, drawing, and ballet. This year I've learned a lot about drawing animals from my teacher Jessie and it really helped me express my art better. I picked a tiger because I wanted to draw an animal in the jungle. When I see a picture of a tiger in the jungle, I feel brave and peaceful. It inspired me to be brave and submit my art to this contest.

I’m an artist and percussionist. The leaf in the picture is a real leaf that exists. I got the leaf on a visit in Opelousas, LA to see a professional artist that has artwork in museums. Her name is Mare Martin and she is also a gardener. The leaf came from her garden and I painted a still life of it. I creatively added the background from my imagination. When I painted it, I was excited thinking about the colors and how to make it cool. I had fun with it.

I am a lover of Japan and anime and love art. The characters are cool and I love their faces they make and how happy they look. I love using markers to make my drawings look real and make my art pictures for decorating my room so it can be like my own cool anime place!

Howdy, I'm Savannah, and I made it! Whoo hoo! Anyways, why this inspired me was because I adore books, dragons, and playing the keyboard. Each one inspires me greatly, so why not put all of them together? This is Daydream Mirage, and maybe one day it won't be so much of a mirage.

I learned about this mysterious plane on Youtube so I clicked on it to see what it was. I wanted to figure out why this plane crashed and I decided to make a drawing of it. What happened and the drawing made me feel sad because there were a lot of people in it. I chose purple, pink, and yellow so it felt like a dream as if it was still flying.

My name is Joshua, and I love art. I have been taking classes on Outschool with Mr. Stokes and Mr. Chris. My piece is about my brother. He passed away at 4, and I didn't get much time with him. In my drawing, I wanted to capture his imagination. I thought about whether he was alive today, and that he would have been ready to graduate high school, work, and travel. However, I was only able to capture his short childhood and things he liked, such as dinosaurs, cars, the beach, and the forest.

Hello! My name's Sybil, and I make a bunch of OCs when I'm bored! I played a game called Cookie Run: Kingdom, and there were two new costumes that were in the game which was a playwright and actor. I got inspired by it, and drew some costumes for my two OCs - Pluvia and Tempestade (Tempestade is male). I always got a feeling of calmness and solemness when i look at the art. It does feel relaxing, like a calm dance.

I am the second of five kids and my family is my favorite place to find inspiration. I love to make my younger brother laugh with the cartoons I draw and my older brother and I love to design and build things with Lego. This drawing is of my grandfather. He died a couple of years ago and it left a big hole in my heart, drawing him helps me to feel connected to him and to the heritage of values he passed on to our entire family; being honest and courageous in everything we do.

Hi! I like drawing and painting, especially blending lots of colors and experimenting with paint. I was inspired to make this piece by using my imagination to think about a landscape I'd like to explore. I wanted to create something that felt interesting and a little bit magical. Making the circles makes me feel calm, and I like how the colors and shapes came together.

I love Wings of Fire and wanted to create an original character based on the books to use in my own story. Magnolia is a dragon who got her leg cut off in the war and has to juggle both school and running her kingdom. She also has a pet lemur, named Sage, and sisters she has to care for since her parents died. Magnolia is strong and fierce and perseveres through hard challenges and also asks for help when she needs it and I want to be like her (minus the losing limbs and parents bit :) ).

I have enjoyed drawing since I was young. I became serious about art approximately three years ago. Drawing is my happy place, it is my passion. The Doise is a character from a game called Pizza Tower. He is funny, chaotic, and theatrical in a comical way. My goal is to attend art school after I graduate from high school.

I love nature and animals. I created this piece using water colors for the first time. I began to paint this to give to my mother for her birthday and the inspiration came from giving my mom something great that can not be bought. I decided to give her a peaceful day. The fox in the meadow makes me feel at peace sharing a warm loving experience to my beautiful mother.

I enjoy creating art that tells a story through color, nature, and imagination. This piece was inspired by a dream of a magical world full of birds, where the rainbow seemed endless and the moon glowed like the sun. A great crane soaring peacefully through the sky made me think of freedom, hope, and beauty. It reminds me to believe in myself, think big, and imagine endless possibilities.

My name is Misha I am from Tampa Florida. I was inspired by my cat, Hunter, and my dad who is a musician. I am also a musician who is learning to play the piano and the guitar. The reason I picked a cat is because I love cats so much, and I picked a piano because I am learning the piano. I made a digital art using Procreate which I have learned thanks to Outschool and Ms. Uli. I used different gradients and some special brushes to create a lovable character Rock Star Kitty.

My name is Caroline. My artwork is inspired by NASA’s female astronauts who have helped expand human exploration of space. Their courage inspire me to dream about the future, to become an astronaut and explore outer space, to help humanity better understand the universe. The red and white koi (fish flowing around the astronaut’s helmet ) are known for swimming upstream, representing humanity’s determination to overcome challenges and push beyond limits even when faced with uncertainty.

Hello my name is Sophie, and I created this art because I wanted to make something calming and not to crazy. I really enjoyed making this piece, it made me feel passionate and calm. In this piece, this bear came to the park to have a fun day on her bike. She is hoping you like this art. I hope you enjoyed looking at my piece!

I have always loved art because I can be as creative as I want, so long as I don't care how it looks. I've always liked how the moon looks, and it inspired this piece. I decided I would go for a dark tone to highlight the moon. This is a magical forest scene, looking out from deep within. There are two hidden runes and lots of other mysteries if you look closely. I'll leave those for you to find. This piece makes me feel creative and like there's lots more to discover.

My grandparents live in Rome and I would like visit London and Rome. It’s a magical bridge that can take you to different places. The colors are bright and make me feel happy. My favorite parts are the Colosseum and the colors of the water. The person on the bridge is me.

This piece invites the viewer to imagine the beauty of coming home after a long day at sea. The warm colours of the sunset and the reflection on the water show the feeling of a job well done. I found it challenging to create the small details, especially the people and the boat. I loved painting this. I hope that when people look at this artwork, they feel at peace and that they are loved.

I created this piece with acrylic paint, letting bold colors and movement guide the scene rather than trying to control every detail. The sky shifts from deep blue into warm bursts of gold and red, while the quiet crescent moon balances the intensity below. As I painted, I allowed unexpected marks and small imperfections to stay. Instead of taking away from the work, they add character and make it feel more real. To me, those moments aren’t flaws—they’re what bring the painting to life.

My name is Blake. I am 17 years old, and I’ve been making art since I could hold a crayon. Marine biology has always inspired me. In this piece, I contrast bright, eye-catching colors with darker elements to reflect both the beauty of marine ecosystems and the dangers they face.
