How TEFA funds work for Texas

Every program works a little differently, depending on your state. Be sure to follow your state’s specific rules and procedures. The following presents a general overview of the process Texas families will follow:

Apply and Qualify

The application window is closed
Once approved, you will receive access to the Odyssey marketplace

Log into your Odyssey Account

Search for Outschool from the list of TEFA approved providers

Select a Credit Option

Select a credit amount that meets your learner’s needs

Use your Credits for TEFA-approved Outschool Classes

Credits will be added to your Outschool account within three business days
TEFA credits can be used on any approved Outschool class
