How scholarship funds work for Florida

Every program works a little differently, depending on your state. Be sure to follow your state’s specific rules and procedures. The following presents a general overview of the process Florida families will follow:

Apply and Qualify

Apply for Florida scholarship funds.‍
Once approved, you will receive access to Step Up for Student's Education Marketplace Assistance (EMA)

Sign in to Step Up For Students.
Select the learner account you want to use

Find and Buy a Class

Select MyScholarShop(MSS) to purchase asynchronous classes or
Find Providers to purchase credits for live classes. Learn more about purchase options here

Use your Credits at Outschool

If you purchase asynchronous classes through MSS, we will enroll your learner and send an email confirmation once the order is processed.
If you purchase credits through Find Providers, we will email you when they are ready to use on Florida-approved classes.
