My inspiration is Nike, my leopard gecko. I am inspired by her beauty, her graceful movement, and her soft, chubby tail. I care for her and all her needs, but she doesn't always notice me. I don't mind that because I simply love watching her hunt, hide, sleep, and crawl in her habitat. I am drawn to her patterns and textures, and I was trying to not only replicate her appearance but capture her true beauty.

Hello I made my dragon by hand. I used my imagination to design Fluffy and it is a dragon puppet. I spent 3 hours on her and I am really proud of it. What makes it special is that I made it with my imagination. I was inspired by foxes and they're big ears. I control it with a base. I used paper, glue, tape, markers, and hot glue. Fluffy is a really nice bubbly and comforting dragon. ❤️❤️❤️

This artwork of mine is based on what inspires me - music, my family (from Norway), Tae Kwon Do, and hearts for being kind. In this piece you can also see a bear eating a cake. That cake is actually called ‘Verdens Beste Kake’ meaning ‘Worlds Best Cake’ in Norwegian! It’s a cake that me and my grandma make together for our families birthdays. It’s really special to me, and she inspires me so much. The background is based off of me and things I like/inspire me, which means a lot to me.

I just wanted to remind people that out of all the professions, farmers might be the most important one. Without them, we don't eat. They do not call in sick, or and the industry never gets to take any days off, or we starve.

I enjoy all kinds of art from sketching with pencils to the flood of my watercolors on the paper. This was fun doing with acrylic paints, harder for me to blend, but I ended up really liking it.

Each bubble shows a different part of who I am. The flute shows my focused, connected side - the part of me that loves being in harmony with others. The drums show my wild, energetic side - the part of me that loves the thrill of a big performance. And the guitar shows my private, peaceful side - the part of me that just enjoys being in my own world.

This is a fiber arts piece I made using fabric I inherited from my Great Grandmother after she passed away. I am inspired by my Great Grandmother's legacy as an artist to create works, try new things, and make mistakes. I chose to make a sunrise since it symbolizes new beginnings and the ability to try again. Whiskers and Delicacies is about a cat dreaming of yummy fish. I love cats because they are fluffy and cute, and even though I love dogs more, I started with cats because they are simpler to draw.

Hi, I’m Mia. I was inspired to draw this by my love for cats! Though it is not my cat, which I have two, it reminds me of my cat. I used 2B for outlining and chalk pastels for coloring. I took the risk of at first using alcohol markers, and when I didn’t like it, I decided to use chalk pastels. I had to cut the cat out and glue it on another piece of paper. I chose to depict a woman, a man, and a white buffalo in the Great Plains of North America as something that inspires me because, for Native Americans, buffalos are a creature of extreme significance to them. Especially in the Lakota tribe, white buffalos are regarded and revered as a symbol of hope, renewal, and prosperous futures. They serve as reminders to the respect and balance needed between humans and nature - at the white buffalo's side, the two humans stand in harmony with nature.

My artwork is called “Circle of Leaves.” I painted it on a real plate and divided the circle into eight sections. Three sections represent the seasons that have leaves: spring, summer, and fall. The other five sections show leaves in different colors such as purple, orange, yellow, red, and green. I used contrasting colors in the background to make the leaves stand out. Leaves are beautiful and colorful, and they make me feel calm and happy.

The artwork and the title is from the anime "The near and far shore" I got inspired by the name so I decided to make an art piece about it. The 2 characters "Hanako and Nene" are in my art piece. The near and far shore mean the world for living and the other shore for supernaturals/ghosts. I spent 3 hours and 34 minutes on this drawing.

My rendition of Starry Night Sky makes me feel nostalgic. When I first saw it as a little kid I was curious about how the swirls were painted. I always wanted to try it out for myself. I felt if I tried I would be able to paint it in a way that tells a story about me, who I am.

I was inspired by a picture of a bird that my instructor used in my High School Art class and my desire to increase my skill at drawing realistic subjects. I decided to use pointillism to illustrate it because I really enjoy that technique.
