This piece inspires me to go hiking and climbing big boulders and mountains while observing wildlife. I am super energetic with lots of enthusiasm, and I like to do rolls while dodging all of the trees and playing tag with my younger brother as we go on our weekly hikes.

I am passionate about art and attended many art lessons on Outschool. All these wonderful art teachers helped me to become more confident and to enjoy creating more than ever! - Our family got the long awaited Golden Retriever Rosetta. I was so happy to draw her, am really proud of my drawing. Without all the Outschool lessons I wouldn't have been able to draw her like that! - Outstanding Miss Shannon from "Ready Set Fitness" told me about this Showcase as I had told her how much I enjoy art.

This piece was for a class assignment shooting in black & white. I LOVE vibrant colors, so this project was challenging for me. I’m usually drawn to the smaller details in nature that often get overlooked. I had to take this photo at least 10-15 times to work out the best shot. I had to choose birdseye view vs eye-level. I also took pictures from several different positions. When I downloaded all the photos I took, this one just jumped out at me. I am SO proud of this shot!

"I am an 11 year old boy who loves to read, write, take care of my pets and have countless opportunities of fun. I drew this because it makes me feel happy, so calm, and so at home." These are Dylan's words. As his mama, I delight in witnessing his weekly commitment to private art classes on Outschool since February, 2024. He has grown so much in his art skills since the beginning of his Outschool art journey. He was inspired to draw this piece while taking a paleontology classon Outschool!

My name is Emerson and I am 8 years old. I love to draw because I love seeing the final product of all the lines that you sketch. I was inspired by an anime character who overcame a difficult challenge and this was how he came out alive. It reminds me that I need to keep going through all obstacles even when tired or beat.

The forest is a very peaceful place, and that is why I wanted to draw it. I was inspired by the way the sun shines through the leaves and the quiet sounds of the birds. Making this art made me feel calm and relaxed. I hope my picture makes people feel like they are taking a nice, quiet walk in the woods.

Hi! I am Leon, I like to make busts of people out of polymer clay because, I like how they show all aspects of the person. I made a bust of Ludwig Van Beethoven. He first inspired me to learn about music, and then he inspired me to start music lessons! I want to be as good of a piano player as Beethoven. He is one of my favorite classical composers of all time!

This is a drawing of a dragon made of shimmering crystal mosaic pieces, the background is filled with crystal roses and raindrops. Rainbows often symbolize hope and new beginnings, while roses are used to symbolize love, all of which are things that inspire me. This piece took 5 hours and 57 minutes, and was created in Procreate.

This piece is a drawing of an eye with only the iris colored to symbolize how if we look into ourselves, we all have our own “super powers.” This concept inspires me as a person because it helps remind ourselves to never give up and that we all have a purpose on living whether you know it or not.

My name is Kinley and I am 14 years old. I have always loved drawing but especially now because I have been taking out school classes with professor Sanya for the last year and I have improved SO much. I love her drawing classes and look forward to them every week. This piece made me feel really happy because it reminds me of the beauty of nature.

I drew this because I love snakes and all the tiny details about them, their scales and eyes as they can be like human eyes or slits like cats and I have been practicing drawing hands for a bit and I am extremely happy with this peice and I hope that it means something.

I love all the colors of the rainbow and take every opportunity to use lots of them. Originally, I wanted to create a different picture using acrylic on canvas, but it did not turn out the way I dreamed of. After a bit of trial and error, patience, and determination, I created A Fish Out of Water with liquid paint, straws and brushes. Creating this picture taught me not to give up on an idea and not to be afraid of adjusting my plans. This painting makes me feel happy and proud.

I made this art piece for a homework assignment. It is inspired by the painting "Surprised!" by Rousseau. I love dragons, and so I remade my own version to include them. This art piece, "The Roar of Thunder" changes the focus from the main ground to the background, revealing two dragons. It shows that there is more than one way to make beautiful art.

Lenny is a bright and creative 13-year-old with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS), a condition that affects his social interactions and emotional regulation. Despite these challenges, Lenny has discovered a special way to express himself through art. This particular piece is of his beloved dog, his close companion and friend. Through this artwork, Lenny not only shares the joy and comfort his little dog brings him but also communicates a part of himself that words cannot fully express.

My name is Sophia, my art piece is a collage made with construction paper, scissors and glue. It is a picture of my cat Camella Belly sleeping on my bed, with a big Venus fly trap plant and the full moon in the window. Today is the full moon, and Camella Belly was taking a nap on my bed. She looked so cute! This picture makes me feel happy.

I named this Spark of Imagination. I based this drawing on the Five Nights at Freddys (FNaF) character Toy Bonnie. What inspires me about FNaF is the creator took one small idea and created something huge. That sparked my imagination. I began to create and draw my own characters. When I think my creations look bad, I remeamber that he kept going so I should too.

My name is Allen, and what inspires me is what my art piece is called - books and food. Food inspires me to try other foods when I grow up and books inspire me to become an author and read the longest book in the world. This art piece goes out to my art teacher, Mr. Christache!

I really love both reading and art, so I was inspired to sketch this dragon eye in graphite by the dragon king Kazul from the Enchanted Forest Chronicles (the series was written by Jessica Day George, if anyone is interested 🙂). Kazul is my favorite dragon of all time because she is so witty and clever, and she is a strong female character AND the best friend of the main character in the series. Dragon eyes—especially this one—make me feel calm, centered, and empowered.

I love art, and when people hear that they ask me what kind of art I like. The thing is that I like all kinds of art painting, building, sketching I found that art is something that I can use to express myself. I made this peace because of a book that I like to read that's called Warriors, and it's about cats. About a year ago they made a graphic novel, and anytime something exiting was about to happen a bird would show up. So what if it was like that in real life, could you imagen?

I love to read, write, and draw. The Wings of Fire series has inspired me a lot in my writing and my art. I've read the books and drawn the characters countless times. Every time I do, I find something new that inspires me and pushes me to keep creating. Glory is one of my favorite characters in the books, which is why I chose to draw her as my entry for this showcase.

I live in the Portugal and we see many bunnies gathering to watch the sun set.

I love painting Lord Ganesha because he is the god of new beginnings and always looks so kind. I was inspired by the bright colors of yellow and orange that remind me of a sunny day. When I look at my art, I feel very happy and calm. I hope my painting makes people feel like they have a big, colorful friend watching over them.

Hi, I am Cindyll, and I am 15. For the last year, I have been studying and drawing faces. I found myself especially drawn to eyes. To me, the eye is an amazing creation of beauty and intricacy: the vibrant colors, the way the light reflects on the iris, and the way that they can express emotion that words can’t. I wanted to capture that in my art. In my piece, there is a window reflected in the eye. The eye is truly the window to the soul. You just have to take the time to look.

I am Emily, the creator of this piece. This is a redesign of my original character Kentor Chehiri. I wanted to make this design more unique and him then the previous one was. This piece makes me feel proud of how far I improved in art and character design.

I am Amina, and I love sketching on my pad, and coloring on procreate. My inspiration for the piece was actually a homework assignment! I was asked to do a drawing of my own deity, god or goddess to present, and here it is! This girl you see here is Equality, the deity of balance. She is the one who keeps things equal between humans, plants and animals. This piece makes me feel proud.

this painting is using acrylic, It is my best painting featuring a man following a light with faith, I love this painting for all of the different meaning to it, i don't paint often but when I do I like it as a side project, I also play soccer, piano and I love singing!!

Hi my name is Emily and this is my art piece, it’s called “My future” and this specific art also really inspires me because in the photo you can see she is sitting down on the ground and looking up at the moon and I do that a lot and if that was me I would be trying to listen to my older self or in fact to My future, but In this it’s like I’m obsessed with my future and I’m trying to get to know her better then I know myself right now.

My name is Coralie and my family has a bird feeder. We like watching birds and so does our cat, so I asked them for their favourite birds and painted them. ( I didn't ask our cat).

I created this piece to show the feeling that even when no one is around, something is still watching. I used a single eye to represent awareness and presence in silence. This piece made me feel both calm and uneasy at the same time, reminding me that we are never completely alone, even in stillness.

As someone who has played music on stage and in many rehearsals, this was inspired by the feeling of being swept up into the music. The way that it feels when you are truly connected to what you are playing and it's like you morph into it. It shows how powerful that can be, when you can express so many emotions through a song.

My name is Sylvie, I am a digital/traditional artist that is learning about realism and showing my art to the world. I wanted to make this piece because I think to sum up your life and passion, you could just stack all the activites in the world between two buns and take out the different ingredients (passions) to find the perfect sandwich to eat for the rest of your life. This art piece makes me feel like even if you feel like you don't have a passion, there will always be one out there to try.

"Raining Inspiration" came from things in my life that inspire me in my day to day activities. The things I drew represent what I love - my family, friends, nature, books about dragons, my faith and so many other things. I feel proud to share my drawings and feel like I can soar when I have these items represented in my art.

My name is Blake. I am 17 years old, and I’ve been making art since I could hold a crayon. Marine biology has always inspired me. In this piece, I contrast bright, eye-catching colors with darker elements to reflect both the beauty of marine ecosystems and the dangers they face.
Hi, My name is Francene and I’m an eleven year old girl. I love to animate and draw. I do both physical and digital art but I decided to make a digital animation. This piece was inspired by a book series called Warriors. I am proud bringing the book series to life.

Hello! I am Arianna and I love art, video games, cartoons, and books. Pokémon was a big inspiration for my art style because my friends almost always ask me to draw their favorite little critters from the franchise for their birthdays. One day I randomly had the idea to turn my cat into a Pokémon. Thus, Mossious the grass and rock type was born.

My names Tallulah. I am a 13 year old artist. This art is a year or two old, but it definitely is my favorite piece of mine. Photorealism and hyperrealism have always been my favorite art styles. I always admire artists that can draw realistically, so the fact I was able to draw something as realistic as this always cheers me up:]

I'm Ashley and I love toilet bound Hanako Kun when I first watched the anime. Later my mom got me manga and I got attached to the storyline. The artwork and the title is from the anime "The near and far shore" I got inspired by the name so I decided to make an art piece about it. The 2 characters "Hanako and Nene" are in my art piece. The near and far shore mean the world for living and the other shore for supernaturals/ghosts. I spent 3 hours and 34 minutes on this drawing.

The main inspiration behind this was mother nature. I made this in my art class with paper, markers and a little imagination. This art piece is like nature. Her beauty is like a mushroom, she is bound to die, but she will always survive in the darkest of times. Nature is all around us. It's stunning and is like no other. I hope you will look at a mushroom and see how amazing, delightful and misunderstood it is! And remember, even in the darkest night, you can find the light.

My name is Hunter and I enjoy drawing anime. I have taken anime classes on Outschool over the years. Some of my favorite classes have been Shine: Drawing Club: Drawing Anime Step by Step for New Beginners with Ms. Roxy, Epic Character Art: Premier Sketching With a Pro Artist with Ms. Roxy, and Anime 101-Anime and Manga Drawing for Beginners with Ms. Harriet. The classes have really helped me improve my drawing skills and I am excited to continue on my art journey.

What inspired me was my main therian mask I made as a human like version. I thought it would be cool to make her a human in a unsettling but cute way. It makes me feel more confident to be weird and who I am and also creative. She honestly IS me but a psycho version.

I am a 5th grade student who enjoys drawing and expressing my feelings through art. I chose to submit this drawing because it is my first realistic eye drawing and because an eye can show emotions without using words. In this piece, I tried to show a mix of feelings like curiosity, nervousness, and hope. This drawing makes me feel proud, and it reminds me that it’s okay to have a lot of different emotions while I’m growing and learning.

The first thing I notice when I look at something is its color. I’ve been doing art for about a year. I mostly draw people but also enjoy drawing realistic things from a reference. I taught myself how to use Procreate by watching other artists online. I always listen to music when I draw. While I was drawing this, I was listening to “The Sound of Silence” by Simon and Garfunkel. The candle makes me feel satisfied at how the light and color blend together to create a realistic image.

I love digital art and I love the Warrior Cats books, so I drew a Clan walking to the Gathering on the island. A Gathering is where all five Clans meet on the island in peace to report their news and let their warriors socialize. This inspires me because I like seeing the world from a different point of view. Also, seeing different clans come together in peace gives me hope that humans can do the same.

My name is Alexander, I am 11 years old, I really like to draw and color. I like the fairy tale "Cinderella", and just wanted to draw Cinderalla how I see her. I was really enjoying making that picture and realy like how it came out. Thank you so much for considering my picture.

This drawing was inspired by people who kept going even when it was hard

I am Aadvik from Mrs.Roxy class. I love to draw Anime characters. Jujutsu Kaisen is one of my favorite shows. I like Yuji because he is strong and cool :D

Watercolor of Aurora borealis, a winter mountain scene, and a mother and baby snow leopard. This watercolor features a rare sighting of a winter mountain prowl of a mother and baby snow leopard underneath the Aurora Borealis. This art makes me feel calm and happy as I think about these rare winter creatures living peacefully in the mountains. I used to live in Alaska and I had the privildge to see the Aurora Borealis in real life so this watercolor reflects my memory seeing it.

The piece that I’m submitting is called Blissful Dreaming, and the subject is my cat Pierre! The art tools that I used were Prismacolor colored pencils, a white POSCA marker, and a color pencil blender. My cat, Pierre inspires me to take it slow, and relax when things get stressful. Hence why I put him in clouds, sleeping. Some challenges that I faced/trying something new were drawing the clouds, and using the POSCA marker for the whiskers and stars. Hope you like it!
