
Every month, Outschool sends you a data summary from the prior month filled with metrics about your teaching business. These numbers are designed to give you a clear picture of how your classes are performing. This guide breaks down each metric into a simplified definition so you know exactly what you’re looking at and why it matters.
This is simply how many total enrollments you received during the previous calendar month. Each learner enrolling in a class counts once.
This shows how many enrollments you’ve received so far this year (beginning January 1 through the end of last month). It helps you see your annual growth progress.
*Star Educator Badge: ≥ 100 enrollments or ≥ 250 enrollment payments in the last 6 months
*Rising Star Educator Badge:>= 60 enrollments or >= 175 enrollment payments in the last 6 months
This is the total amount families paid for your classes in the previous month. Think of it as your “gross earnings” before Outschool’s service fee.
This is the total amount families have paid for your classes this year (January 1 through the end of last month). It helps you track your annual financial progress.
The total number of reviews (star ratings and written feedback) families submitted last month.
The total number of reviews you’ve received this year (January 1 through the end of last month), excluding the current month.
The average of all star ratings (1–5) you received last month.
Your average star rating across all reviews received this year through the end of last month.

*Rising Star Educator Badge: 4.9 measured over the last 6 months
This shows how often you were present for your scheduled classes last month. A higher percentage means you showed up consistently.
This measures how often you arrived 5+ minutes late to class. A lower percentage is better.
Of the learners who took their first class with you in the last 30 days, this shows what percentage signed up for another class with you within that same 30-day window.
Similar to the 30-day version, but over a 90-day period.
This looks at payments, not enrollments. It shows the percentage of learners who paid you more than once — meaning they purchased from you again after their first payment.
This shows how many message threads you replied to last month. Higher indicates strong communication.
The percentage of message threads you’ve responded to this year through last month.
This shows how many threads you responded to within 24 hours last month.
The year-to-date version of the same metric.
*Star Educator Badge: Responds to at least 65% of the messages received within 24 hrs
*Rising Star Educator Badge: Responds to at least 50% of the messages received within 24 hrs
How many unique people viewed at least one of your class pages last month.
How many unique visitors viewed your class pages this year through last month.
Of the visitors who viewed your pages last month, this counts how many eventually enrolled.
The year-to-date version.
This shows what percentage of your page visitors turned into learners last month.
Your conversion rate across all visitors this year through the end of last month.
